March 18th Birthday Dinner

I’m thankful that I have another year under my belt….and this weekend reaffirmed that I’m getting better as I get older ! So as I’m catching my ride home (my flight from CLE to DCA), I shoot Aliya a text asking her to pick me up. In classic Aliya fashion, she sends me a response asking me if I’d like her to “whisk [me] away to a delectable fare.” I don’t really respond well to those sort of remarks…LOL…but anyway, she had reservations for us to eat at Bistro L’hermitage in Woodbridge, VA. Woodbridge isn’t exactly down the street, but dinner was worth the trip. The Bistro was this smaller setup...
