Mexico….it’s getting outrageous

We are going to South Cancun for our honeymoon in June.  This is my first time over to Mexico so I’m pretty excited!  All-inclusive resort…food, drinks, lodging, entertainment….all paid for!  Sounds great right

Then I hear about the Meican drug war going on in Mexico :-/.  I didn’t really know how serious it was until I went and checked it out for myself.  Evidently this has been going on for years.  People there are getting decapitated……TOURISTS included!   I read in one article that in order to “create an atmosphere of terror” they rolled people’s HEADS across the floors of the nightclubs!  Sounds like its from a movie or something, but it’s happening.  Evidently it hasn’t been happening at TOO alarming rates, but it is very real and going on.

So after saying all that….lol….we are still going, but I’m making sure that I’m keeping an eye on how this develops.  Most of what I read happened a while ago.  The most recent that I’ve heard of this happened later on last year around September or so, so I’m hoping its dying down and they are handling their business.  That travel agent sure didn’t mention this…..even if I’m not too close to it, I would have liked to have known what’s going on…..jerks…lol
